Well, today I had a fake snow day. Basically, we had school but my parents didn't want to drive in the crazy blowing snow. I did our driveway once, but the second time I had to do it was when I realized something, a think I called smart kindness. Now, it might be considered love by some, but to me it's not, because I'm gaining. Bsaically, it's based off the principle of being kind to others but just happening to get something in return, and it doesn't matter if they "equal" in kindness, but as long as it's something. I learned this as my neighbor has been letting his neighbors park theirs cars in his driveway. He doesn't use it so why not. Though he's smart because he told me "See, now no snow will build up there!" And it hit me.....smart kindness. It's like you're doing a favor but getting a favor in return without the other person knowing it. One of those easy things. It's not like giving an extra pen to a guy at school who needs it, that shows compassion. This is like giving away that extra food in your lunch to someone who forgot it that day because you know you don't really need it and it helps you from overeating what you really need. IDK, it was just something that hit me today.
